Custom Orders & Portraits:
Q) How do you get the portraits to look like my family, pet or home? 👨👩👧👦 🐕 🏠
A) I work from your photo(s) as a base, I use digital artistry to create my designs, using digital brushes, pens/pencils along with layers and masks to create the beautiful portraits you see in my listing photos, making each one distinctive in it’s own way. These are not painted with real paint, they are created digitally and printed.
Q) What is your turnaround for your custom orders & portraits?
- You should expect to hear from me within 1 business day, I will request the photo(s) to work from and any requests for text to be added, the first proof should be emailed to you within approx 2-5 business days, this will be for you to check over and request any minor changes you wish to make to the portrait.
- I will advise if I am not able to add or take away any particular objects from your photo.
- Any amendments can prolong the design processing time, and can add hours if there is a delay with emails back and forth, so please be aware of this and be diligent in checking emails if your order is time sensitive.
Q) When will I get my custom order?
A) Once the final proof has been approved by you in writing (email) I will finalize the design and get this sent directly to you within the next 24 hours if you have ordered as a digital download or print and ship within 48 hours, or if ordered a canvas, I will get this sent to my printing facility for printing & shipping to you directly, this does take longer as the canvas are printed out of State.
The canvas printing process normally takes 5-12 business days, after that, it will be on it’s way to you, we use standard shipping, which is FREE for all orders to the USA, we can not guarantee shipping times, if you request a delivery by a specific date, message me and I can check out the shipping options for you.
Q) After you send me the proof can I ask for alterations?
A) Yes you can, as I want you to be happy, I can make changes to the proof, but not change the photo used, revisions can take time so please bear this in mind when gathering the initial details for your portrait.
Q) Can I cancel my order once I place it?
A) Due to the bespoke nature of each product I offer at The Creative Pioneer, each item will either be designed or printed just for YOU, once customization of your order begins, or notification gets sent to my printing site, there can be no cancellations, sorry, not sorry 😘
Q) Are your pillows washable?
A) YESSSSS if you spilled your cocoa on your new pillow while you snuggled up on the sofa in front of the crackling fire🔥 , don’t fret…… our cases are Machine-washable & 100% pre-shrunk so you won’t be fighting to get it back on after washing!
Q) What are your Pillows made from?
A) Shape-retaining 100% polyester insert included, with 100% Polyester cover, Sweaty head 😅? no worries, this luxurious linen feel fabric is moisture-wicking and has a hidden zipper too, yep you got it!
Q) What size do your pillows come in?
A) We have sizes that range from 16"x16" to 26"x26" but please check individual listings for the size offered for each design, as we do not offer each size in every design.
Q) Are you pillows reversible?
A) Our standard pillows are printed on one side, the reverse side is plain white
Q) How long will delivery be for standard products that I don't want customized?
A) If you have chosen one of my designs that does not require any customization, your order will get routed to my printing facility, it normally takes between 5-12 business days for your order to be manufactured, It is then mailed to you by economy shipping, usually between 3-10 business days depending on your area.
Q) I am not in the USA, will there be any additional shipping fees or charges?
A) Shipments outside of the USA may incur customs fees depending on the destination country. The fee may vary depending on your order value, Country limits, and other factors based on the product itself. The Creative Pioneer is not responsible for any VAT, Customs, or other fees you may incur, returns to sender for this reason will not result in a refund, please check your own Countries customs restrictions/fees before placing order.
Q) Do you ship to the EU
A) Unfortunately due to restrictions and set up with VAT I have decided not to offer shipping to the EU at this time through this store, but some items are available to be shipped to the EU from my ETSY store at www.etsy.com/shop/4PawsPioneer

Q) My item was damaged when I got it, what do I do?
A) Please contact me within 48 hours of delivery and let me know what went wrong, if you can also take photographs of the damage from all angles of box and actual product and email to me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please keep your packing slip as this has the return address on, we will get back to you with a solution asap, thank you.
